We turn Samy's invented symbolic alphabet into human-scale sculptures you can sit on, climb through, and live inside.

Each letter is upholstered in Tarz el Fassi, Zoubida's signature jacquard fabric - a Fès weaving tradition over twelve centuries old.

Built entirely by hand, no machines. Our artisans had never made anything like this before!

Part sculpture, part furniture, part decorative object - all at once.

Sophia Kacimi (ZOUBIDA) and Samy Snoussi are two French-Moroccan friends who decided to build something neither had made before. No brief, no plan - just a shared love of each other's work, and a wish to see what happens when craft is given permission to go somewhere unexpected.

Samy is an urban designer and artist, working across sculpture, painting, and public installations. His invented symbolic alphabet - born from automatic writing - is the starting point for this whole collaboration.

At first glance, the monumental forms of Signs of Life seem to belong to the world of collectible design: sculptural, meticulously upholstered, almost too beautiful to disturb.
